Travel to Steamboat
Flying to Steamboat
There are two airports that fly into Steamboat - Yampa Valley Region Airport (30 mins from Steamboat) and Denver International (2.5 - 3 hours). Click drop downs below for more info and to explore flights.

Located in Hayden CO, is about 22 miles west of Steamboat Springs (30 mins). Private shuttles and ubers are available from HDN to Steamboat.
In the summer, the only nonstop flights to HDN come from Denver, Chicago, Dallas/Ft. Worth, and Dallas Love airports. You can fly from other major cities with a layover in one of the above locations.

The cheaper nonstop option, DIA is about a 2.5 - 3.5 hour drive to Steamboat depending on traffic. Note that with this option, it makes the most sense to rent a car for flexibility. However, private shuttles are available (info in drop down to the right).
Driving + Transportation
Car rentals, ubers, and shuttle services are available at both HDN and DEN airports. Shuttle information for both airports below.
You can also call Steamboat Central Reservations at 877-783-2628 or 970-879-0740 (international) to help with shuttle reservations.

In the summer, shared and private Airport Shuttles can be booked from HDN via Ski Town Transportation. Ubers and car rentals also available at HDN.

In the summer, there are no shared shuttle services available from DEN.
Ubers are possible. while expensive. You can book private airport shuttle services from DEN via GoSno Mountain Transportation, or rent a car.
Accommodations
Steamboat has a variety of hotels and VRBOs/Airbnbs. Please note, hotel lodging options in downtown Steamboat are limited outside of the Western Lodge suggested below. There are numerous other hotel options closer to Steamboat Resort (10 min drive from downtown Steamboat).

Don’t let the google reviews scare you - this hotel went under new ownership in 2024 and has completely re-gutted everything
Located directly in the town of Steamboat on Lincoln Ave (aka Main Street), so an easy walk to all restaurants, bars, and wedding venues

Located at the ski resort, so it is about a 3 mile (8 min) drive from the wedding venue + downtown area
Not walkable to town - but there are shops + a restaurant inside the hotel
Hotel offers free shuttles to get back-and-forth to town

Steamboat is a huge Airbnb + Vrbo town, which is our favorite way to stay when we’re there!
Whether a small condo for you and your Plus One, or a larger space with a group of guests - there are tons of options directly in town that put you within walking distance of all bars, restaurants, and the wedding venue.
Click the links below to see available properties in the area for our dates - ideally you want to stay as close to the to the downtown area (Lincoln Ave) as possible, rather than the resort which is about 10 minutes away. That said, the shuttle system in Steamboat is very easy to navigate and consistent.

Winona's Restaurant and Bakery - Oversized servings of American breakfast & lunch fare. Classic diner breakfast perfect for hangovers. Fills up fast & often a line, so get there early to put your name in. $
The Shack Cafe - Western breakfast in a log cabin style cafe. Less crowded option is Winona is packed. $
Colorado Bagel Sandwich Shop - Mountain style bagels and sandwiches
